Notes to myself

Relax your body,

steady like a mountain, unmoving.

Relax your speech,

calm like a lake unruffled by the wind.

Relax your mind,

open like the sky.

Care for the body.

Take food that supports clarity.

Rest when rest is needed.

Learn to be alone.

Follow the breath.

Let the nervous system learn ease.

Do not look only to outer conditions for inner balance.

Cultivate a courageous heart.

Real lasting bliss does not rely on the senses,

it unfolds when grasping loosens.

Be virtuous.

Virtue steadies intention

and clears the path.

Be generous.

Generosity creates harmony with beings,

loosens fixation,

and aligns you with interdependence as it truly is.

Walk into uncertainty.

Step into chaos.

Do not negotiate with fear.

Walk toward your demons.

Hug your demons.

Kiss your demons.

They are your path, your nourishment,

the very wisdom that makes you grow.

Remember death often.

It brings Dharma to the front of the mind.

Offer to the protectors.

Strengthen the bond with those who guard the path

and keep your intention aligned with the lineage.

Rely on the guru.

The guru is the root of all blessings,

the bridge from confusion to recognition.

Through devotion wisdom awakens.

Recognise the five elements as the five dakinis,

the wisdom-dance of all appearance.

Drop improvement.

Drop correction.

Drop becoming.

Look directly at awareness.

Leave it as it is….
